A young and muscled Animarian, Solla's hollow bone structure makes her deceptively light. Although in space she is rarely given a chance to use her wings, she is fully capable of flight given at least a small updraft.
With a commanding and formal-sounding voice due to her species' peculiarities speaking Uni, Solla keeps a cool head on her shoulders at all times and is quite capable of commanding those several years surpassing her in age.
It is Solla who headed the expedition to recover a Rulerist bioweapon- which was later revealed to be Grey. She is an officer in the Rulerist Resistance Information gathering sector.
Solla does, in fact, have a lifemate.
Although seldom seen or worn, Solla occasionally will wear beads in her hair. These beads are made of stones she picked up in her travels, and she wears them when she is feeling nostalgic.
It was one of these beads which proved to be radioactive, causing Solla to seek treatment for radiation sickness from Soshika.
Worn only in times of battle, the polished metal bracers Solla owns are the traditional fighting weapon of the warrior caste Animarians. They are not to be worn frivolously, and are never to be left dirty. The spike on the front end of the bracers is sharpened to a knife-like blade and is strong enough to withstand sparring against metals of a like consistency.
Solla's dewclaws, although seldom seen, are engraved with entwining designs in gold and silver. These indicate her unique status among Animarians as both a member of the warrior and priest caste.
At first glance, Solla appears aloof. This is more because she is a very calm and rational person, able to place herself outside the emotions of a given scenario and seek the best solution. Few things irritate her, although someone refusing to acknowledge more than one side to an issue will often make her raise her voice.
Despite her limited exposure to other races, Solla is extremely sly and wise when it comes to interaction between individuals. She is also a shrewd negotiator and natural leader. If she believes information given to her subordinates would hinder their performance, she will withhold that information.
While she is not infallible, Solla will admit her mistakes and work to correct them. She is quick to take command in dire situations, and tends to hold off on initially reacting to things which may seem strange. Instead, she will digest the information at a later time so as not to betray her calm exterior.
Raised first by her mother amidst the priest caste of her people, and then by her father amidst the warriors, Solla learned very early on how to communicate between the two frequently warring fractions. She was able to negotiate peace between the two large tribes on her homeworld, and for this was revered as a kind of holy woman.
When a Tresh ship arrived on Animaria, it was Solla who first initiated communications with the aliens. After some negotiation, she was informed about the Tresh crew's commitment to the Rulerist Resistance. After meditating on the situation for several days, Solla decided it would be best if she and a few of her people accompanied the Tresh and fought on their behalf.
As the stars are sacred to Animarians, this action elevated her to prophet-like status. She does not view herself as such, seeing it as a purely strategic choice.
Solla's life-mate is a male priest-caste Animarian named Adrien. The two have not yet had a chance to nest together, but Solla feels unhurried and unperturbed by the prospect of not ever seeing her mate again.
Once in space, Solla and her people found the Tresh ship was bound for a small moon which was currently struggling for independence from a fanatical fraction of Rulerism. Solla joined in the fray, adapting to ground-bound warfare and modern weaponry quickly. It was during this battle where she first met Soshika Lypha, the Hekshanian medic holed up inside a bunker long after the battle had passed. The two managed to extract themselves from the rubble and meet up with what was left of the resistance.
